The first step is to make sure that your PC recognizes the IrDA adapter when it is plugged into a USB port. In your PC's Device Manager you should see an item named "Infrared Devices". When you expand that item you should see SigmaTel USB-IrDA Dongle. If there is a yellow indicator on it that might mean the driver is not installed properly. Once the driver is installed properly and recognized by the PC, open the PowerDB test form and follow the instructions in the attached PDF document.
